Grating Microstructure and Spectrum Measurement

OCI1500 can be used to measure grating microstructure and spectrum, and evaluate the quality of grating. The following figures show measurement results of four gratings.

Each fiber has three complete gratings. Length of gratings shown by figure (a) and figure (b) are respectively 800μm、200μm, and the grating area is displayed as a neat zigzag pattern. The reflectivity of each point on the grating is basically consistent, which indicates that the grating has good structure. Figure (c) and Figure (d) show gratings with a length of 200μm, and the reflectivity of some points on the grating are inconsistent which indicates structural defect. Figure 2 shows a spectrum of grating (a).
